Our youth arts programming, including painting and sewing courses, helps increase access to creative expression and cultural experiences for children and teens. Our primary demographic focus is youth of color throughout the Greater Boston area. By partnering with youth-serving organizations including schools, group homes, libraries, community centers, extracurricular and enrichment programs, Atelier Dubuisson provides auxiliary workshops at the facilities in which youth already spend their time. Our workshop services are flexible to meet the existing needs of our partner organizations, including one-time workshops and workshop series. Content of our youth-facing program centers on artistic skill-building as well as positive identity development, self-expression, coping strategies, and cultural exploration.

Adult Arts & Skills Workshops
At Atelier Dubuisson, we believe that creative expression contributes greatly to overall well-being, and everyone deserves a chance to express themselves through art. Our adult programming seeks to provide outlets for self expression, as well as a space to hone and perfect one’s craft with support from others. Our community-based workshops foster a sense of collaboration, resulting in learning and healing experiences for all. Content of our adult arts & skills workshops include sewing and fashion design basics, self-advocacy skills for artists, resume-building, and public speaking. In the 2024 season, our adult program focuses primarily on partnerships with organizations serving new Haitian-American immigrants.

Model Coaching
We are excited to provide one-on-one coaching for anyone interested in modeling and getting more involved in the fashion industry, whether as a hobby or as part of your career. We help create comp cards and portfolios, as well as perfect skills in runway performance, photoshoot posing, commercial modeling, social media development, and more. If you are passionate about modeling and strive to create your personal brand as a model and performer, contact us today to apply for individualized coaching.
Opportunities to present and experience art are just as important as having the space and resources to create. The Atelier Dubuisson Artist Showcase events bring our members’ work to life, in front of an audience and with the support of the community. By producing art shows, live art demonstrations, and collective artwork experiences such as murals, we open the doors for new cultural experiences and welcome the general public to discover our artists’ talent.
